Norwich drummer, John, has held the drum seat with Taverham Band for over 30 years and has performed with them for HM The Queen and King Charles at Sandringham and Windsor Castle. He provides drum and drinks for Norwich's favourite band, The He Hews - catch them outside Jarrolds at weekends ! He has toured Europe and appeared at the Brecon Jazz festival with The He Hews. The He Hews represented the UK at the International Buskers Festival in Ferrara, Italy.

John is also the drums behind "Rob and Ecky". Norwich drummer John appeared with The He Hews on Channel 4's Come Dine With Me. John was a proud contributor to Terry Wogan's "Wake up to Wogan" Radio show and recently the Danny Baker Show.

He has been driver and road Manager for numerous cycle tours including Lejog, France, Italy, Germany, Luxembourg and Spain

He also had the honour of playing the "Saving Private Ryan" drum solo at the Menim Gate in Belgium.
